Transient Dance TheatreCesar Meler, a student on the ND Fast Track Music Technology course at Northbrook has composed a soundtrack for a new piece by the Transient Dance Theatre. THE COMPANY Transient Dance Theatre is Northbrook Theatre resident company. It is formed of students, graduates and returning ex-students who are now working professionally. The company was established last year by graduate, professional dance artist and fully-qualified dance teacher Ana Fernández Martínez. Transient Dance Theatre is currently on a promotional tour which includes dates at Northbrook Theatre in Worthing, Chisenhale Dance Space in London and The Barbican Theatre in Plymouth presenting their new show ‘Transience’. THE SHOW The creative process has been freed up from the confining discipline boundaries, the one-language constraints and the tyranny of a logical, linear narrative sequence. We have opted for a non-interfering mode by which all artists have experimented with their own interpretation of a mutual starting source. Transience is the result of this experimentation in present tense (a variety of present moments occurring) and hence its dreamy, meditative quality. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Lbzmwox83C4
