The Course

This course is intended for intermediate to advanced performers and places considerable emphasis on the development of creativity and performance in a variety of professional situations. You will be expected to demonstrate a good level of competence, creativity and musicianship on your chosen instrument/voice.  

Although you will be concentrating on performance and instrumental techniques, the modern professional performer will have developed a broad skill base across a variety of disciplines; therefore you will also study arranging and scoring and studio and production techniques.  To test your skills you will be given opportunities to perform and record in a variety of contexts, including theatres, festivals and broadcast events.

Our very well subscribed and popular BAHons Top-Up courses are designed with this progression in mind and so integrate seamlessly with the Foundation Degree.

Entry Requirements
All students deemed suitable based on the following criteria are invited for interview. A relevant National Diploma or A levels with an overall Merit Profile. A good reference or College Report or Record of Achievement. A portfolio of work demonstrating a range of relevant prior achievement.
